On Saturday we finally took the trip to the mountain to see some snows. The girls were so excited. Jewelle who don't like to wear boots or anything that covers her whole feet even wore some boots because I told her she needed to wear those so she can go to the snow. It was two hour trip from us and because I woke up early I slept half of the way there. I told Rico to wake me up when we head up to the mountains, he didn't need to coz I was awaken by Jewelle's singing hehehe. Surprisingly the weather up there isn't that cold, it only gets colder when you touch the snow . The girls had fun making little snowmen because the snow was too hard to even make a bigger one. Jewelle loved throwing snowballs. She attacks you when you're not looking. What a terror! heheh. We also went to the Big bear lake which isn't frozen. I wanted to see it frozen. Cheap thrills I know but it's just amazing how nature works. Here are pictures we took:

We went home when it started to get dark maybe we'll go again some other time before Rico leaves for deployment. The girls had so much fun it was so hard to ask them to say bye to the snow hehehe.

In the quest of Wii:
So we decided to buy the Wii because we had so much fun playing with it at our friends' house. But that thing is sold out EVERYWHERE! We started looking thursday and until now we still haven't found one. We went to best buy, target, wal-mart, the navy exchange, toy's r us & circuit city still nada. I even looked online but it is sold out everywhere I went ek. So if anybody can help me find out hehehe it'll be forever grateful. I will give it to Rico for his birthday along with a portable dvd so he doesn't get bored at the ship.

In the mood to shop:
Like I mentioned from my previous post I opted to buy kits instead of any gift from hubby. I went shopping online and here are the stuff I picked out. Not even adding to $50 cool huh? lol I save him hundreds of dollars lol.

I have lots of goodies..so I will be scrapping like hell this coming week and the next because Rico will be away again. He'll leave on thursday and will be gone for about a week. Hopefully the girls and I will be able to prepare something special for his birthday.

Sunday Shopping:
Sunday was spent outside the house we needed to go grocery shopping. After that we went to the exchange, window shopped for awhile and had snack at Jollibee. My favorite place to shop is Gymboree for the girls. I have my $50 worth of gymbucks. I will be redeeming that this week. I love shopping for my girls. I love cute blouses for them and sexy dresses hahah. I do love to buy them identical clothes because I always wanted twins. They usually generate alot of attention too from people they always ask us if they're twins hehe. I find it amusing because they are two years apart. So went to gymboree and planned what I'm going to buy this wednesday hehehe.
Sunday also spent doing the laundry and cleaning the kitchen. Rico opted to clean the kitchen while I did the laundry and folding. He hates folding clothes heheh while I hate doing dishes lol so that worked well for both of us.
