Last week she finally revealed to us her designs and they are all gorgeous. I have been eyeing her designs since Monday last week when she debuted at The Digichick and since I know that there are going to be a big sale on Black Friday I waited to buy her stuff that friday and I can't wait to use them. They are so realistic and beautiful. here are what I grabbed at her store:

We can't help but sometimes we lose our mojo and it's been happening a lot lately. So I thought of buying something to help me get inspired. I have been waiting for the sale at ideabooks4u.com because they have great scrappbooking books for inspiration. Since they are having their last sale for the year I stopped by over there and got these:
I can't wait to read them and get inspired!

Head over at Scrapbookgraphics and get this grab bags from O.N. Designs. I guarantee you you will love what's inside. I cannot even believe Nicole and Oliver put so many elements inside this bad for just $5.00. It's worth your $5. I can't wait to play with all the elements inside.
scrapping
I miss it hehehe...haven't scrapped for about a week already hehehe..been missing a lot of sales too ...must shop some supplies today. I saw Catscrap is having a sale so I will have to go grab some stuff over there that I have been eyeing for. Scrap Girls are also having a sale though I never shopped there before I have a gazillion stuff in my wish lists hehehe. I might stop by over there too. Sometimes there are so many sales that I forget most of them. Good because that means I don't have to spend that much money I guess...bad because I missed the sales...anyways, hopefully I can scrap again anytime soon but if not then at least I have supplies ready when I do lol. I completely forgot about sharing Jelynn's first day of school pics. Here's a layout I did of her first day of kindergarten:
Credits are in my DST Gallery.
Anyways, Jelynn has been doing pretty good in school. The teacher has been very impressed by all the things she can do especially she never attended preschool. I don't think I should give credit to myself though hahaha because I didn't actually sit next to her and teach her. I do buy her activity books and I did subscribe at Disney's Preschool time online which she plays most of the time. And I'm also pretty proud because she can figure things out on her own. She would ask me questions occasionally when she doesn't know something but most of the time she figures it out. What I do try to do though is read to the girls everyday before they sleep and once they have that schedule down they would read books throughout the day and it was a great help for both the girls. Their vocabulary expanded and their memories are amazing.
Jelynn memorized the Pledge of Allegiance within two weeks and Jewelle memorized it after three weeks. They love to recite it whenever their lolo and lola asks them to. When Jelynn's class turn to do the Pledge for the whole class her teacher told me she will lead the whole school. Of course, I'm a proud mommy lol. But since she loves school so much she doesn't want to be absent at all even though she doesn't feel well. She is sick again. Been throwing up and having a mild diarrhea. I argue with her that she should just stay home and we'll be going to the doctor but she keeps telling me she NEEDS to go to school. So we just let her go. We just let her teacher know that she hasn't been feeling well lately. I cannot believe how much she loves going to school...but at least we didn't have a hard time putting her to school...Hopefully Jewelle will be the same hehehe.

So this is the sale I have been waiting for:
I absolutely adore Kay Miller's kits. They are whimsical and girly. I love using her kits with the girls' pictures. If you've seen my gallery at DST...I have a lot of layouts done with her kits hehehe. I already spent a lot of money in her shop a few months back but I still have a few kits to buy and can you believe it, I actually waited for the sale to come hehehe. Here are some of the stuff I may grab..I still have until Sunday to decide hehehe:
Not too bad huh? Not a lot too...hehehe maybe because I already own most of her kits hahaha..

Yeah...I can't seem to get rid of the habit of buying and buying things even though I don't need them. This time I dropped by at Funky Playground and got myself some of the goodies I've been eyeing for awhile and also found myself a lot more than expected lol. Here are what I got:
Hopefully I can use them one of these days hehehe...

I love Sundays because Designer Digitals always releases new kits and elements plus two of their new stuff are $.25 each. I always try to get it especially if the elements I can use over and over again. I'm a sucker for sales anyways hehehe. Even when I don't need anything I still buy them just because they are on sale lol. I always tell myself that later on I can use them and I might need them and if I do I don't want to pay full price for it hehe. Here are the two 25 cents they have this week:

Do you get Miss Mint's freebie every month? She usually put out a great kit every month for all of all to download. I love her freebies because I can use them over and over again plus it's already a kit so it's all goes together. Here is the new freebie she released this month:
If you haven't gotten it already do log on at PeppermintCreative.com and get yours before the end of the month.
computer slowing down
Yikes!!!...It's probably overloaded with kits and photos that's why my laptop is starting to slow down. Oh no! Worst nightmare hahaha. I think I really need to get another external hardrive so that I can transfer the kits and photos in that hardrive plus I have another one for daily use. I have been buying and buying so many kits and the paperpacks are usually are large files so they must be causing my computer to slow down. Gosh another thing to do...oh well...it'll make me busy lol. Labels: Digiscrapbooking
Lots and Lots of sale
There are a lot of sale going on right now at the digiscrapping world. So if you have a lot in your wishlist especially in Little Dreamer and Oscraps ...it's the time to get them heheh. I still haven't grab any from the Little dreamer and Oscraps still deciding on a few things hahaha. Plus Tracy Ann's new store just opened so I have to stop by over there and get her lucky dip and some of the paperpacks and elements she released. My paypal does not like these kind of sales lol. I'm no photographer by any means. I think I will never be a good photographer because I hate reading the manual. I did buy a couple of books but until now I haven't really tried learning all those techniques that was discussed in those books. Maybe someday or maybe not so photo actions does help a lot with my pictures. The last photo action bundles I bought was Holly Mcraig's Photographer's Assistant. I still haven't played with it that much yet but I kinda like it based on a lot of examples I've seen. I'll post examples once I start playing with it. Labels: Digiscrapbooking
Sweet Shoppe is having 30% off sale for nearly all their products except the new releases. I have a ton of stuff I want to buy but I keep thinking I haven't been using a lot of stuff that I have been buying. It's not even middle of September I think I've already spent about $100 for digiscrapping supplies. That reminds me to back them up soon before my hard drive malfunction. Anyways, I thought of getting some of MandaBean's word art. Saturday I started putting some kits/elements on my cart and it was like $30 already...I guess I must trim it down..since I'm planning to buy other stuff from other store too lol...ahhh the joys of shopping! It's a new month so that means lots and lots of grab bags going on in digiscrapping world. I ONLY get grab bags when the designer has a lot of stuff I already own because I don't want to get disappointed. I know it's not a lot of money but still I want to be able to use everything or almost everything I've gotten from the grab bags. Here are what I've gotten:
I got these from my two favorite Ginas...Gina Miller & Gina Cabrera. Since I love their stuff I know I won't get disappointed and of course I wasn't. They are all a must haves.

I have been scrapping and scrapping but I haven't really done much featuring myself and my dear hubby. Maybe because we rarely get a picture together lol. Plus Rico hates having his picture taken. I don't know if that's a guy thing or something but most guys I know don't like to have their picture taken. Plus I'm usually the photographer hahah and we don't have anyone to take our pictures. And ever since we got the Canon Rebel it's harder for Jelynn to use the camera to take our pictures. Anyways, I finally did a layout featuring us. It was an old photo from last last 4th of July.
Credits on my DST gallery.
Thanks for looking.

Catscrap.com is one of my favorite digiscrapping store mostly because of their doodles. I just love to use doodles plus they have unique elements you can't see anywhere else. Since they are having their 1st year anniversary it means they have a sale throughout the week. Plus drop by every day because they have various items reduced up to 40% off. Here's what I grabbed at the store:
You can never have enough of those doodles heheh. The celebration kit is gorgeous free when you buy $15 or more.

Since I don't have anything else to do here, I usually try to do a layout everyday but sometimes my mojo wouldn't cooperate hehehe. But the last couple of days I have been doing layouts after layouts.I could do more layouts but my body won't cooperate hahaha. I have to take a break from the computer once in awhile because my back do start to hurt if I stay in front of the computer for a long time. Here are the latest layouts I've done:

It is indeed...hehehe. I just love to shop for digiscrapping supplies. That's actually where my blogging money goes. Thank God for my blogging money I don't need to get money from our savings for my hobby. I love scrapping because I can showcase the girls' photos in different ways/designs. I hope that I can be able to scrap more but sometimes my brain freezes or something. But I do try to scrap at least 3 layouts a week so that I can say to myself whenever I buy some supplies that I did use the last kits/elements I bought lol. Here are the latest scrapping supplies I bought:

I didn't get everything on the picture only the elements/papers I think I can use. I never thought that green and pink goes well together..Now I know!
There's two new $.25 products at Designer Digitals today. It's still 25 cents until tomorrow so grab it. That's why I love Sundays because they offer two new products at DD that are only 25 cents. What a deal huh? Go check it out. I know you can use it over and over again. Labels: Digiscrapbooking

I saw Rissa's photos on her blog and they were already beautiful but with actions the colors popped. So I thought I'll get one too since I'm no photographer hahaha. Until now I still haven't learned my camera and I don't think I'll learn it anytime soon. So actions will make my so-so pictures a little better hahah. Not stunningly great but it will do since I do have a lot of pictures of the girls that are too dark or overexposed. Here are examples of the itty bitty actions:
Before
After
Here's another example:

After ( but I think this is too much hehehe...I'm still learning.)
