Paris, France
One of my dreams is to go to Paris, France. I know a lot of people who would also love to go to Paris. Who wouldn't right? It's the most romantic city in the whole world. Who wouldn't want to see the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum or the Arc de Triomphe. Rico and I have been really planning to go to Europe and experience how Paris, France is different from any city here in the States. I've been looking around for hotels in Paris we can stay. I know how expensive to travel let alone travel all the way to Europe. So if we really want to go to Paris we have to save as much money as we can.
I found the Hôtels en Paris to have the best accommodations rated from 2 stars to 5 stars. You'll absolutely find the greatest deals at the site. If you are also planning to travel anywhere in France do log on at cheaperthanhotels.co.uk/France and find great accommodations in France even if it's the last minute. Soon we would be able to fulfill one of my biggest dream why not have Cheaperthanhotels fulfill your dreams too. You can find a any accommodations in France. I'm sure you'll find a much cheaper Paris hotels than what I saw because they have specials going on all the time. Go to the most romantic city in the world, experience the once in a lifetime adventure in Paris, France.

Walmart Coupons
I still have a few things to buy in preparation for Baby JE's arrival. Since I had Jewelle over three years ago I didn't know how much baby's things are now. They are so expensive. Travel systems that we bought way back were just about $100 now you can't even find a travel system that much anymore. Car seats usually run from $100 to beyond. So to save money I need to find coupons to save some money. I know that Walmart is much cheaper than most stores that carry baby's things so I need to find online Walmart coupons. There are a bunch of stuff that I need to grab over there and when I found online coupons for Walmart at gogoshopper.com I was so excited to start shopping. If you also are in search of online coupons go try gogoshopper they have a lot of coupons you can use. With hundreds of stores you can find a store where you can save a lot of money. A little thing can save you a lot.

First day of school
Jelynn's first day of school was yesterday. She was a little sick but she was determined to go to school that day. As if there's really nothing that could stop her. Her school started at 8:25 and since it was half day yesterday I picked her up at 12:30. Us parents were given a chance to spend a little time inside the classroom with the kids. She seems to be having so much fun. I didn't even have a hard time leaving her there unlike the other kids who were crying when they announced that kindergarten parents need to leave. My Jelynn just wave goodbye to me and gave me flying kiss. I am so proud of her. She is officially my big girl. Today I dropped her off again gave her her lunch money and saw her followed her teacher inside the classroom and found her seat. She was seating there all behave and stuff while other kids started crying. Today will be a much longer day we'll pick her up at 1:40. Hopefully she eats her lunch this time hehehe. Anyways, pictures to follow.
Customized Tshirts
I've always been fascinated with everything customized. I have a friend who'll be having her wedding soon. I think custom T-shirts for the entourage would be a great gift. At customink.com they have variety of customized clothing and accessories which is great for birthday parties, reunions, and any business you can think of. You can design your own T-shirt and have Customink digitally print your design.
I think I'll have my friend order matching T-shirts for the bridesmaids which have their names and their duty. It would also be a nice way to get to know everyone from the entourage party especially when some of the bridesmaids don't know each other. If you have family reunions coming up personalized T-shirts with your family name would be great to have. All orders from Canada and United States get free shipping. And if you are not satisfied with your order they return your money back. So you can't lose. Order today!
Update on the girls...
They feel much better although they are still having cough and runny nose. We went to their pediatrician yesterday and no infection found which is good. They where given triaminic thin strips and thank God they were able to take it. I should not buy any of the liquid medicines anymore because they don't like the taste even with flavoring. Jewelle's swelling on the eye subsided yesterday too. I still have no idea what might have caused it. I mention about insect bites to her doctor but she said that it should swell up too big if it's from an insect bite. She said it was most likely that she touched something and rubbed it on her eye that's why her eye swelled. Then I thought about that what could have she touched at 11:30 at night in our room to make her swell like that. Arghhh!! If only we know what's her allergies are then it would be easier. Her appointment to the allergist is still about a month away. I guess we just have to be more careful. Wiping everything she might touch. Poor kid I have her wash her hands every couple of minutes or so..which isn't too bad because she likes to play with the water. Better safe than sorry I guess.

I feel bad....
because I won't be able to enroll Jelynn to ballet just yet. Most of the ballet class only meet in the afternoons and I don't know how I'm going to bring three kids in ballet class. I think we may have to wait until Baby JE is a little bigger and would not be needing too much attention from me. Or better yet when I have somebody to help me take care of my kids. I just wish she doesn't take it too bad. I told her way back she'll go this September. She hasn't been asking yet maybe because it's not September..heheh

Tutoring help
Sometimes I wonder how I'm going to handle everything with three kids. I worry that i won't be able to do everything I want to do with my kids. Especially now that Jelynn started school. I wonder if I have the time to help her with her homework when I have a newborn to take care of. And since Rico's still away he won't be able to help me also. He suggested if ever we don't have enough time to help Jelynn with her homework we can get tutoring help from tutorvista.
I can get one on one tutoring help for Jelynn at TutorVista. Plus the tutors are available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. That means I can just have her turn on the computer anytime no schedule needed to get help through their online tutoring. They have personalized homework help for everyone from kindergarten through college. They can help any student excel in whatever subjects they may be having a hard time. Whether it's Algebra, English or Biology. They can even help high school students prepare for the SATs and ACT. Tutors have graduate degrees and they underwent various training so you know you are getting the best tutors at TutorVista.

bad night....
We had a rough night once again..they girls are still sick. But what's worse is that Jewelle right eye swelled up last night. I was so scared that her whole face will swell up again. I immediately gave her benadryl and have the epipen ready just in case. I really don't know anymore what to give her to eat because I gave her Mac and cheese last night and a juice which she usually been drinking and eating the last couple of days with NO reaction but then there it goes swelling on the eye at midnight last night. Thank God I don't sleep early then I would have probably not catch it. I saw a little rash on her eye before we were going to sleep. I usually monitor her rashes and wait it out if it goes away or it gets better. After about ten minutes it was getting bigger and bigger so I got her benadryl to stop the swelling. I wasn't able to sleep that much because I keep waking up to see if it was getting worse. Plus Jelynn couldn't have a restful sleep because of her cough. I tried giving her some tylenol but she threw it up. Today I'll be bringing them both to the doctor after Jelynn's first day of school. Hopefully, the pediatrician will give them medicine they can actually take. And then I woke up with a sore throat and a runny nose. Yes, it was a pretty rough night over here hopefully it'll get better.
Labels: Health Issues, The Girls
I barely had any sleep last night because of the constant coughing of both girls. They have caught the cold virus from their Lolo who is also suffering from a bad cold. Even their Lola don't feel well. They all have the cold and hopefully i won't catch any. But I may not be lucky this time around because when I woke up my throat started to itch. I don't want to drink any medicine right now. I'll let it pass hopefully it's nothing too bad. I'm still hoping my flu shot way back from January still works. But Jelynn and Jewelle aren't too lucky. They always catch the cold even though they already had their flu shot this year. I guess kids are more susceptible to cold viruses. I am especially worried about Jelynn because she has the tendency to start wheezing when she gets the cold. Plus she starts school tomorrow and then she's sick..poor kid. I started giving her some Tylenol Cold and Cough but she has this bad habit of throwing up stuff she doesn't like. She doesn't take medicines easily. I had to put the tylenol with orange juice so she can at least get it in her system. Hopefully she feels much better tomorrow if not at least I already made an appointment to see her pediatrician.

my stress reliever
Would be shopping. Yes I don't think I could go a week without buying anything. I think this started when I got pregnant to Jelynn. I was so excited to shop for baby's clothes. To me every little piece of clothing for babies are a must have hahah. But now that we're having a our third baby I need to cut down on my shopping or at least try o save some money by using coupons.
At couponchief.com you can find many stores that offers online coupons and coupon codes. I saw a lot of coupons for Gap and since school is around the corner it'll be great to buy school clothes for Jelynn over there. I can't pass the chance of getting the coupons they offer at couponchief. Log on at couponchief and you can be sure to find the latest deals in your favorite store. They are constantly adding new merchants, coupon codes and promotional codes so come back often.

I won't buy anymore clothes for the girls. I was fixing the girls clothes yesterday because I asked my dad to install another rack of clothes storage in the room because all of the girls' clothes are folded and I could hardly find anything. He was able to install about 8ft of clothes rack and can you believe it...it's not enough enough for the girls' clothes hahaha. The shirts/blouses did not even fit over there. The closet is already full and most of the storage racks for theirs pants are full. I thought by installing another rack I could free some space for Baby JE's clothes but noooo. It's still not enough lol. I bought almost 200 hangers and guess what? I still ran out lol. Now I know when Rico tells me that the girls have too many clothes already. So I promise not to buy anymore clothes for awhile. Let's see how long that will last lol.

Baby Slings

Baby slings are a must now because a lot of parents have their hands full. With a baby sling your hands are free to do other things while carrying your baby or toddler. There are a lot of benefits of having a baby sling like babies who are carried often cry less plus you develop a much stronger bond with the baby if he or she is with you most of the time. Even though you are carrying the baby your hands are still free and can do chores around the house. I want a baby sling because it is convenient when traveling or just walking around the mall instead of putting the baby on the bulky stroller. And with three kids I don't have enough hands to push and hold the other two. I was able to find a baby sling that is comfortable and can be used even with a toddler. At Slinglings.com they have pouch slings that are suitable for newborns to approximately 35lbs toddler. They have variety of fabrics to choose from and they are easy to clean. They have a lot of sizes to choose from and their instructions are pretty easy to follow. So why not create a bond with your baby that will last a lifetime..get a baby sling today.

You & Me...forever
I have been scrapping and scrapping but I haven't really done much featuring myself and my dear hubby. Maybe because we rarely get a picture together lol. Plus Rico hates having his picture taken. I don't know if that's a guy thing or something but most guys I know don't like to have their picture taken. Plus I'm usually the photographer hahah and we don't have anyone to take our pictures. And ever since we got the Canon Rebel it's harder for Jelynn to use the camera to take our pictures. Anyways, I finally did a layout featuring us. It was an old photo from last last 4th of July.

shopping for DVDs
We don't usually go to the theater and watch a movie because we have young children and we don't trust anyone to stay with them so we always wait for the movie to be release in DVDs. As you all know DVDs doesn't come cheap but I found RapidSearch where you can buy DVDs at a low price. The girls have been asking me to buy the Shrek: The Third and Happy Feet but every time we go to the store I always forget about it but since I found them at RapidSearch I will buy them because they are cheaper than in the store. RapidSearch.org not only sell DVDs but also softwares, CDs, and games. If you need any of those buy it at RapidSearch.org and you'll save a lot.
Week 32
OMG! It feels like I'm going to give birth any second. These pelvic and abdominal pains are ridiculously painful. It feels like I'm having a nonstop contraction.I think this is what they call as Braxton Hicks contractions. They are practice contractions and don't have a rhythm like true labor contractions. I never felt these contractions with my two girls so this is pretty new to me. I couldn't sleep because I'm uncomfortable most of the time. It is even hard to sit down for a long period of time. There have been an increase pressure in the pelvic area. I think maybe the baby is going down that's why it's stretching my pelvis and giving me these pains. I keep checking if I'm bleeding or something like that hahaha. I really don't want to give birth this early. I mean the baby is barely 4lbs in the moment. The baby isn't fully ready yet. I keep thinking maybe I'm just constipated hahaha because the pain feels like I'm having a diarrhea but nothing is coming out. If this persists I may have to go in for a check up on Monday to see what's going on. Hopefully I'm not going to give birth anytime soon hahaha. I'm just not ready!
Your Baby:
Your baby sleeps approximately 90 to 95 percent of the day now. His skin has become thicker and he continues to become more of a pinkish color. Your baby's movements will peak this week. From now on they will change in quantity and quality. Most of the wrinkles are disappearing from your baby's face, and there may be a lot of hair on his head. The weight gain has been fairly incredible recently. Your baby is now almost 4 pounds and is 17 inches long.
Your Body:
The discomforts of pregnancy may be wearing you down. Remember to rest as much as you can. There are many things you can do to help relieve some of these discomforts such as massage, relaxation techniques, stretching, exercise, proper posture and a healthy, balanced diet. Be sure not to take any sort of pain medication even over the counter remedies such as Tylenol or Advil without first discussing it with your doctor.
You may be wondering about what the birthing process will truly be like. Depending upon whom you ask, you may find yourself with varying examples. According to reports and research, approximately ten percent of women will report that labor is truly painful, while another ten percent will report no pain at all. Everyone else is somewhere in the middle of this spectrum. Your experience will differ from others as you may have a different pain threshold, and may choose to use or not to use any type of medications during birth. There are many factors that can affect the amount of pain you will experience during birth.
Your body is producing a hormone called relaxin. This hormone is responsible for loosening or relaxing the pelvis, making it move mobile during delivery. You may feel the effects of this hormone in your legs as you experience waddling. Dont worry; this is only temporary. And when it comes time to give birth, you will be very grateful it's there.
Your fundus is approximately four inches above your navel.
Pregnancy Symptoms You May Experience
* Breast Changes, tenderness, fullness, darkening of the areola
* Frequent Urination
* Constipation
* Indigestion or heartburn
* Occasional headaches
* Stretch Marks (cocoa butter can help with these)
* Itching
* Round ligament pains
* Hemorrhoids

It was mostly heartbreaking for my Dad to see his father who he idolize ever since he was a little boy cannot remember him. He would constantly calls us in different names. He couldn't function by himself anymore. He needed help even to do simple things like eating and going to the bathroom. Alzheimer's disease is the most common type of dimentia, a term used for loss of memory and other intellectual abilities serious enough to interfere to daily activities. Right now Alzheimer's disease has no cute but there are treatments for symptoms that are available. The Alzheimer's Association is having their annual Memory Walk to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care. There are walks in 600 communities worldwide. By joining this walk you can create awareness to other people who might be clueless about Alzheimer's disease. If you raise $500 for The Alzheimer's Association you can qualify for a trip to Las Vegas. Join the Memory Walk 2007 to help those Alzheimer's patients get the hope they need. This is the walk that can change people's lives. It's just about 2-3 mile walk held during the fall so it isn't so hard. Just an hour or so of your time and you can help millions.

Today was Jelynn's kindergarten orientation. She thought that she starts school today because when I gave her the clothes she was going to wear she asked me why she isn't wearing her uniform. I told her we're just going to a meeting so the excitement faded. Hahaha. I cannot believe how kids today love to go to school while when I was younger I had my Dad stay with me while I get used to everything. Anyways, I didn't feel like Jelynn likes her new teacher I think she got used to the teacher she had over the summer. But I think she can adjust once she gets to know the new teacher. The orientation touched up on Uniforms. That they are expected to wear uniforms everyday except on Fridays. I told Jelynn she doesn't need to wear uniforms on Fridays because she might start to cry when she doesn't wear a uniform on fridays heheh. She can buy lunch over there if she wants to. I think it'll be good for her to buy the her lunch over there because she'll get used to different foods everyday. She officially starts on the 29th. Class starts at 8:25AM to 1:40PM. I don't know how she can handle a much longer school time but hopefully she'll still love it just like the summer program. I think I'm more terrified than her. She is so excited while I'm a little apprehensive lol. Oh well..I'll get used to it I guess. I know I can't keep her my baby forever....*sigh*
bathroom lighting
I have been complaining to my Dad to change the bathroom lights because it's a little dim over there. And the kids have a hard time using it at night time because they think it's a little dark. Properly lit bathrooms does ensure the safety while using the bathroom. Since we have kids we need to have the bathroom as safe as possible so that they can use it alone wihtout us following them all the way to the bathroom. Plus bathroom nowadays has become a refuge for many so why not light it adequately? A good lighting plan is a series of layers — placing ample light where it is needed for showers, shaving, or putting on makeup, for instance, while other light sources enhance the overall mood of the room. Create an atmosphere you can totally relax in, get the best bathroom lighting to transform your bathroom not just a another room in your house but a place where you can truly start your day refreshed.

The next Internet Millionaire
I love watching game shows because they are not only entertaining but most of the time you learn a lot from game shows. There's a new show called The Next Internet Millionaire where twelve people compete for $25,000 cash prize and a joint venture with Joel Comm, one of the world's leading Internet entrepreneurs. The twelve contestants will learn the secret of marketing from the masters themselves while having the chance to win cash prize. Do watch out for this show. I bet you'll love it.
Since I don't have anything else to do here, I usually try to do a layout everyday but sometimes my mojo wouldn't cooperate hehehe. But the last couple of days I have been doing layouts after layouts.I could do more layouts but my body won't cooperate hahaha. I have to take a break from the computer once in awhile because my back do start to hurt if I stay in front of the computer for a long time. Here are the latest layouts I've done:

A so-so weekend
It's a new week again. I hope you all had a nice weekend. Ours were the same of course lol. The parents worked Saturday while we stayed home and then we attended my niece's birthday party that evening. Since we were late we stayed for just an hour because everyone were leaving already lol. Sunday was spent at home too. I felt bad that we haven't been to Church for awhile. Two kids plus a pregnant lady in a church? That will be chaos especially Jewelle is on the stage where she asks about everything and anything. Every time we go to church we are usually in the crying room or outside because the girls are always asking questions and I don't want them to bother anyone else. I'm just bored out of my mind lol..I mean we do the same thing every single day. Arggh! Nothing new.

Trouble sleeping
For weeks now I have been having trouble sleeping. I feel sleepy at at about 5PM and then I try to take a nap but after 20 minutes or so I wake up. I haven't had a continues six hours sleep for so long now. I think because of my big tummy. There have been no positions where I can sleep through the night comfortably. I usually feel sleepy at about midnight but when I go to bed I keep turning and tossing until the wee hours of the night and then waking up at 5am or so and going to the bathroom. When I get up to go to the bathroom I have a hard time going back to sleep. So I ran on 3-4 hours sleep everyday. Oh well just two more months maybe I can sleep a little better but maybe not especially if the baby is awake at night rather than in the morning hehehe. Oh the gifts of motherhood...lol
British Gas
British Gas has launched two new green energy tariffs, Zero Carbon, which will be the greenest tariff available on the domestic market. This is the best tariff in the industry right now because the energy supplied is carbon neutral which will also benefit the environment and saves a lot of money. Invest at green energy today and help Great Britatin schools reduce CO2 emissions. For more information here's a press release from British Gas:
BRITISH GAS LAUNCHES GREENEST ENERGY TARIFF
9 August 2007: British Gas has announced it is launching two new green energy tariffs, Zero Carbon, which will be the greenest tariff available on the domestic market and Future Energy. British Gas has launched the tariffs, in response to the increasing demand for green energy products.
Householders signing up to the Zero Carbon tariff will:
• reduce their household energy carbon emissions to zero through Kyoto compliant offset schemes which will meet the new Defra requirements
• help fund a direct increase in investment in renewable energy generated in the UK
• contribute to the new British Gas green fund which will:
o invest in developing new renewable technologies such as wave power
o oversee a programme to help schools in the UK reduce their CO2 emissions
Gearóid Lane, Managing Director British Gas New Energy said,”Our new tariff responds to consumer demand for truly green energy solutions. It is essential that customers have confidence in green energy tariffs and that their credibility is not damaged by tariffs that claim to be green but in reality do not deliver any incremental environmental benefits. Green tariffs are moving from niche to mainstream products and we’re leading the industry by offering a tariff that will do more for the environment than any other product currently available.”
Under the government’s Renewables Obligation (RO), electricity suppliers in the UK are already required to produce an increasing percentage of their electricity through methods such as wind farms which, unlike traditional power plants, produce zero carbon emissions. For 2007/2008 this figure is set at 7.9%.
In a recent report, the National Consumer Council (NCC) raised concerns that some energy suppliers are packaging electricity which is produced under the RO scheme as “green”, yet it delivers no additional environmental benefits. The NCC called on energy suppliers to take steps beyond their legal requirements and offer green energy tariffs that provide genuine additional environmental benefits, in particular CO2 emissions reduction.
British Gas worked with Global Action Plan and The Climate Group’s “We’re in this Together” campaign to develop Zero Carbon which goes further than any other green tariff in meeting these requirements offering consumers the only zero carbon option on the market.
The tariff carries a premium of £84 per year, reflecting the higher cost of producing energy through lower carbon emission schemes.
Virginia Graham, Chair of Global Action Plan, said, “The British Gas Zero Carbon tariff delivers on all three of the essential requirements of a green tariff which are: additionality, transparency and verifiability. As such it is a very welcome new offering in the market. Consumers signing up to the tariff can be confident that they are getting 12 per cent more renewable energy than they would otherwise have got. The carbon emissions from their electricity and gas will also be offset with emissions reductions from projects accredited by the United Nations.”
Zero Carbon is one of the first initiatives launched through the ‘We’re in this Together’ campaign, which was launched in April 07 as an alliance of some of the UK’s biggest brands who are all working to help their customers reduce their impact on the climate.
Dr Steve Howard, CEO of The Climate Group and founder of ‘We’re in this Together’ said, “We’re committed to offering people ways to make a real impact on climate change through Together.com. We’ve worked with British Gas to ensure that Zero Carbon is a genuine step forward in delivering more environmental benefits than any other tariff currently available.”
British Gas’s second green energy tariff, Future Energy, offers an alternative green electricity tariff at a premium of just £20 per year. Customers signing up to this tariff will contribute to a green fund which will provide solar panels and other renewable energy technologies to UK schools. Money from the fund will also be invested in development of future renewable technologies and sources.
To sign up customers can call British Gas on 0845 604 0055 or visit www.britishgas.co.uk

I'm getting serious about potty training Jewelle because well it's about time since she's already three and soon she'll want to go to preschool. Plus she goes through pull-ups after pull-ups and pull ups are expensive. And since we're having Baby JE soon I might as well potty train her before the new baby comes. Because she might gets jealous of the attention we are going to give Baby JE that she would want to act as a baby again. Not wanting to potty train or anything. Monday, I told her she gotta wear the panty for the whole day. She was reluctant at first because she was looking at the pull ups. I told her if she wanted to go to school she gotta learn how to go potty. She did give in and put on her underwear. She had so many accidents but I still encouraged her to make potty and if she does make potty I'll give her Starburst. She did try to go potty going in twice but she refused to take number two on her potty. I said that was okey because she was crying when she made poopie on her panty. I told her she can try again tomorrow. When she went to sleep I gave her back her pull ups because I know she wouldn't be able to control herself just yet. Tuesday when she woke up I told her to take off her pull ups and put on her panty and she did. Then after awhile she went potty. She was so excited to show me that she made wee wee on her potty. So I gave her some starburst. I told her if she goes wee wee on her potty she gets three starburst and if goes poopie there then she gets four. I was so proud of her she went poopie there too. Tuesday was a great day. She only had two accidents and I didn't even have to ask her if she needed to go she goes by herself. I think the accidents happen when she can't control herself anymore. Oh well she'll learn I guess I just need to be more patient.

We bought Jelynn's uniforms for school the other day. She is now so ready to go to school. I also bought her a new backpack from Disney Store with a lunch box. I think she won't be able to use the lunch box because she'll have lunch in school cafeteria. I think it's better that way so she'll learn to eat other foods. I had her picked up all her school supplies too. In two weeks I have a little who goes to school full time. Anyways, since I find her uniform so cute I took some pics. The uniforms are a little big but I think she'll grow into it. Since it's already the smallest size we can't do anything about it lol at least it isn't falling lol.

She also have the pants but it isn't as cute as the Jumper hehe so I haven't taken a pic of that one. Maybe later. She'll only use that when it's get too cold anyways or maybe if I don't have time to wash her jumpers lol.
